Thermoplastic Preformed Lines

Southteq thermoplastic preformed lines come in 5m rolls and are very easy to work with.
These have been manufactured with embedded glass beads for high visibility day and night and have good skid resistant value. This makes them perfect for car parks, reinstatement, utility work etc..This thermoplastic material is a perfect low cost solution when coming to car park line marking, patch/lining repair or small linemarking projects. No heavy machinery is required and no major downtime will be needed as this is a fast performing material.

How to apply the thermoplastic tape
1. Ensure that the surface is free or dirt, dust, debris to ensure the best adhesion between the surface and the thermoplastic lines.
2. Gently preheat the surface with a blow torch. The surface must be dry and we reccomend a touch warm temperature surface.
3. In the desired area, lay down the preformed thermopalstic tape with the galss beads facing up. Cut to size if required
4. With the gas torch, create a back and forth evenly spread pendulum motion so that the heat is even distributed, the material will then start to go molten.
5. Once all the lining has metled to the surface, leave the product for 10 minutes to cool down. The material has now been applied.

Please note, If you are applying this product to concrete, we would reccomend a thermopalstic primer to ensure adhesion.
