Our BBA Hapas approved overbanding tape comes in 35mm x 5m as standard.
It has use and approvals to be used on the UK Highways and major road networks.
It has all the anti slip properties required to meet project needs and is designed to seal the horizontal and vertical joints on patching and reinstatement works etc.

These come in boxes of 12 (60 metres per box) but can be split if needs be to suit your requirement’s.

How to apply Overbanding Tape:

Ensure the application area you want to apply the tape to make sure it’s clean and free from any dust, dirt or debris. Gently preheat the area with a blow torch to remove any moisture.

Lay down the overbanding tape with the anti slip facing up and cut the correct length required you need to prevent any wastage.

Using a blow torch, create a back and forth motion and heat the tape with an even spread until the tape becomes molten.

The Overbanding has now been applied, please wait until the surface has cooled which will be visible to the eye. Should you require further assistance then please contact the office or your Southteq representative for further info.
